Frances has spent many years in the Khumbu and Himalaya, bringing a wealth of experience having curated exhibits at Tengboche Monastery, Namche Gompa, Makalu-Barun National Park, earlier versions of the Sagarmatha National Park visitor centre, and for the Canadian National Parks.
Tenzing Norgay Sherpa Heritage Centre
The Tenzing Norgay Sherpa Foundation has been working closely with Frances Klatzel and Mera Publications to curate and produce the exhibits.
The work was split into Phase One, preparations and exhibits for the Inauguration, and Phase Two, additional exhibit panels. Phase Three with audio-visual materials, a couple of experiential installations, and in-depth information is in progress.
